Maison Sun is a fine dining restaurant located in Boerum Hill, Brooklyn.
We are a unique restaurant concept serviced by chefs behind an all-stainless steel counter & vintage Molteni stove.
We serve 12 course Asian and French influenced tasting menus, inspired by both seasonal ingredients and the charisma of our Executive Chef, rooted in New York City culture.
Our Executive Chef, Brendan Skiber, served a wide range of high-ranking positions at some of the most prestigious restaurant establishments in the United States, notably Masa, Quince, and The Modern.
The comprehensive cost of our experience is $375, inclusive of fine premier cru and grand cru wine pairings, gratuities & sales tax.
For reservations, please text message us directly or reserve below through Resy.
Ensuring the safety and health of our guests is our foremost priority. We rigorously enforce numerous health protocols. Measures we consistently undertake include, but are not limited to:
• sanitizing surfaces between seatings;
• deep cleaning common areas twice daily;
• chefs wearing gloves during service;
• sneeze guards being placed between counter and kitchen;
• hand sanitizer being offered before finger-bites.
We are located at 200 Schermerhorn in Boerum Hill, Brooklyn.
Our space occupies the original location of 3 Michelin starred restaurant “Chef’s Table at Brooklyn Fare.”
After CTBF moved to Hudson Yards, we took over the space and renovated it to pristine conditions.
Our location features one of the most finely built kitchens in the world, including a vintage Molteni stove behind an all-stainless steel counter.
Our chefs utilize a full Mauviel 1830 copperware collection owned by Executive Chef Brendan Skiber.
Our most recent addition includes a 21-set collection of “M’Mini” sauce-pans for serving sauces "counter-side."

Dr. Gasperi obtained his Ph.D. degree in German Literature in 2019. His original aspiration was to fulfill a career in the field prior to the unwelcome arrival of the global pandemic. Upon graduating, he utilized his time and research skills to become a professional restaurateur and head sommelier of his own restaurant.
Executive Chef Brendan Skiber follows a long lineage of finely trained chefs and butchers in his family. A Long Island native, he initially intended to study plant biology in college. Having discovered his true métier early in life, he quickly changed course to study gastronomy at Johnson and Wales in Rhode Island. Upon graduating, he served well over a decade in a range of managerial and semi-executive positions at some of the United States’ most prestigious restaurant establishments, notably Quince, Masa, and the Modern.
Brendan proudly joined the Maison Sun team in February of 2022.

To borrow from E.B. White's quintessential memoirs in his masterpiece of travel writing “Here is New York” of 1949, New York City restaurants can utterly destroy an individual, or be entirely fulfilling, depending a good deal on luck. According to White's initial and most gallant summation of living in New York, “on any person who desires such queer prizes, New York bestows the gift of loneliness and the gift of privacy.”
The workforce of the service industry is made up of a gallimaufry group of strangers, mostly persons born outside the city, or better, as White aptly puts it, “persons who have pulled up stakes somewhere and come to town, seeking sanctuary or fulfillment, or some greater or lesser grail.” The capacity to offer such dubious gifts is a peculiar and mysterious quality. Perhaps that is the wonder of working in New York City.
We discover that our longings are universal, that our solitude is not forlorn. We belong.
